About Me
I'm Nadiya — a creative and strategic UX leader with 6+ years of experience spanning research, design, strategy, and creative direction. I love seeing products come to life, from that first ideation spark to the moment something launches. These days I lead entire creative departments, mentor early-career creatives, and work directly with founders and executives to make that happen.
I started my career founding my own UX consultancy, Modular Nexus, where I worked directly with nonprofits and learned that the best design decisions come from really listening — not just to what people say they want, but to what their users actually need. From there I moved into agency work, then into the Chief Creative Officer role I hold today at The Donovan's Venom 501(c)(3), where I lead 6 cross-functional volunteer teams and founded the organization's Accessibility team from scratch.
I believe good UX should exist everywhere — including the spaces that matter to people personally. That belief drives my professional work and my personal projects. I'm currently building two product design projects rooted in communities I'm part of and care deeply about, because I genuinely can't help but want to fix the gaps I see.
A Little More About Me
When I'm not working I'm reading Science Fiction and Fantasy, playing video games, and spending time with my two rescue cats, Clover and Ivy. I was born in Ukraine, grew up in a quadra-lingual household, and my hair has been purple since 2012.
